Hello Marley, just wanted to say I enjoy your writing and this column in particular.

As someone who has lived outside the US, I can tell you that some systems are better. I favor democratic socialism.

You only need to look at issues such as healthcare, higher education and homelessness to realize how American-style capitalism has failed. Fortunately, that is slowly changing. Capitalism is getting less popular with younger generations.

Maybe they’ve finally realized the system simply ain’t working.
